February 25, 2009—The Caldwell Group, Rockford, Ill., has introduced an adjustable load lifter that allows cranes to handle a wider range of loads. The versatile lifter, with a rated capacity of 2 tons, can be adjusted to fit the load. The lifting bail adjusts to the correct center of gravity for balanced handling of different sized loads. The throat opening adjusts for different load heights, and the fork spread is also adjustable. The lifter is also equipped with an auto-return bail to hang level when empty, saving time and effort.
