Talbert Announces Hire of VP Sales & Marketing

Rensselaer, Ind.-based Talbert Manufacturing, provider of heavy haul trailers and specialized transportation equipment, last week announced the appointment of Greg D. Smith as vice president of sales and marketing.

 

"Greg will lead our commercial sales team in solidifying the Talbert dealer 
network as well as represent the voice of the customer to the organization to ensure we continue to produce best-in-class trailers,” said Andy Tanner, chief operating officer of Talbert Manufacturing. “His leadership and experience are tremendous assets to the company.

 

Prior to joining Talbert Manufacturing, Smith served as vice president of 
sales with ATDynamics, a manufacturer of fuel efficiency technology for the
freight transportation industry. Previously, he was VP sales with Truck Bodies & Equipment International (TBEI) as well as a general manager of Fontaine Modification. He brings to Talbert an extensive background in the transportation industry, sales, dealer and business development and trucking operations.
