SC&RA Elects New Officers

May 15, 2006 — During the Annual Conference, held April 25-29 at The Westin Resort in Hilton Head Island, S.C., the Specialized Carriers & Riggins Association (SC&RA) elected Doug Williams, Buckner HeavyLift Cranes, Graham, N.C., as president, according to a recent edition of the SC&RA newsletter.

Joining Williams as officers for the 2006-2007 term are: Jerry Thomsen, Trail King Industries, Inc., Mitchell, S.D., chairman; John Ward, All States Freight Systems, Twinsburg, Ohio, vice president; James Vitez, KMX International, Hamburg, Pa., treasurer; and Randall Goddard, Atlas Industrial Contractors, Ltd., Columbus, Ohio, assistant treasurer. Also joining the board as group chair for the Crane & Rigging Group is Kevin Johnston, J&R Engineering Co., Inc., Mukwonago, Wis.
