SC&RA Awards Scholarships

May 15, 2006 — Seven students were recently awarded $3,000 scholarships from the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Foundation, according to a recent edition of the SC&RA Newsletter. These scholarships were available to children, grandchildren, stepchildren, and spouses of SC&RA member company employees. Designed to encourage future employment in construction-related fields, eligible students must be seeking education that would lead to such employment.

• Jason McDonald, Rockport, Ind., sponsored by Sterett Crane Service
• Amanda Ruksznis, Sidney, Maine, sponsored by Cianbro Corp.
