New York Crane Operators on Strike

July 3, 2006 • Crane operators and other heavy equipment operators are among the International Union of Operating Engineers members who are on strike in New York City. The strike began on July 1, when the operating engineers rejected an offer from the General Contractors Association of Greater New York during contract negotiations last week.
