Jib Added to CCM 555 Crane Model

June 6, 2006 — Classic Construction Models (CCM), Beaverton, Ore., recently a 1:50 scale tapered jib assembly specifically designed to fit their Manitowoc 555 die cast crane model. This realistically detailed, 8-inch-long jib is hand-crafted from brass and painted to match the original model.

 

The tapered jib assembly comes complete with kingpost and rigging and can be easily installed by pulling and replacing the two pins that hold the existing "short jib" assembly on the model. The original whip line and headache ball/hook are used with the new jib and when installed, give the model a very distinctive and custom look.
