The crane kit can produce a variety of cranes and reduces build time.

February 3, 2009 – The Yale Shawbox Crane Kit from Columbus McKinnon, Amherst, N.Y., contains virtually everything required to build a crane. The economical kit can significantly reduce build time and enable all crane builders to quickly and easily produce a wide variety of cranes, including top-running single girder, mono-box, or double girder cranes with capacity up to 15 tons for single girder and 20 tons for double girder.

Kits include all of the parts and pieces to complete a crane with the exception of the girders and paint. Standardized equipment such as trolleys, end trucks, hoists, bridge motor, pendant controls and festoon systems are all contained in many of the crane kits with an aim towards adaptability and versatility. Additionally, these kits can be quoted, estimated, and ordered using the online estimating software accessible by all Yale Shawbox Authorized Distributors.
