Barnhart to Purchase Sicklesteel Cranes

June 29, 2015 - Barnhart has agreed to purchase Sicklesteel Cranes Inc. of Mount Vernon, Wash., and Pacific Tower Crane, an affiliated company of Sicklesteel. With 50 employees and a fleet of 56 cranes, Sicklesteel will continue to operate under its name and will have full access to Barnhart's national network of equipment, engineers, and branches.  

 

In addition to its Mount Vernon branch, Sicklesteel operated two other locations in Tacoma, Wash. and Portland, Ore. Through Barnhart’s coast-to-coast network, customers will have access to some of the nation's most innovative rigging systems, wind turbine up-tower services project cargo logistics capabilities, and a department of more than 40 engineers.
