Altec Celebrates 80th Anniversary

January 16, 2009 – Altec, Birmingham, Ala., celebrates its 80th anniversary in 2009. Since its beginnings in 1929, the company has been built based on solid, conservative business principles and a value system that remains the cornerstone of its corporate culture, according to a statement on Altec’s website.
